The second video describes an event that happened in 2004 in the High Tatras. In a few hours they changed beyond recognition. A strong wind swept through them, destroying everything in its path. In the Tatras, man-planted spruce trees, which are a profitable economic commodity, could hardly withstand winds of similar strength. How did the Tatras cope with the natural disaster? Why do we need forests to live? This was the topic of our ecological video made for Raben, which celebrates 90 years in 2021.
